Forsyth County Schools CRCT Scores

I'll be honest, I really hope that news story does not go national about how Atlanta has been cheating on the CRCT and how one principal has treated his teachers during the testing process.  It is disappointing as a parent of kids in our state, in a county that has excelled and at a school that had the highest test scores for 5th grade (my son was one of them!) in its history to hear something like this happening in our state.

When I see something like this news report, I feel included just by proximity and somehow, question my own school's reporting.  I even feel like this story diminishes our own accomplishments and that is so unfair. I want to shout out - "That is not us!  We did not cheat!  We don't go to those schools!"  Which is so sad...

So I am going to post these results proudly... which is a direct copy from Forsyth County School's website

Forsyth County Schools' elementary and middle schools are well represented among the top 10% of all schools in the state of Georgia for CRCT results. While test scores are but one measure of achievement, these results reflect the hard work of FCS teachers and students.
